Hi. I've had a few calls from my letting agent over the past few months about problems with water damage at 173 Finnieston Street. The tenants are now refusing to pay the rent due to the ongoing problem. They tell me the flat is damaged due to leakage that has affected the ceilings and laminate floors. My property company are not giving me much information other than a mandate to sign related to some repair work to the building. I haven't been able to get in touch with Hacking and Paterson. Can anyone tell me what happened and how many properties are affected. Are the building insurers fixing both the building and the flat interiors? Surely owners are not being asked to pay for this mess?
Thanks
Marcus
